Destin Breeze – Crab Island
Originally inspired by our family’s decades of vacations to Destin, Florida, Destin Breeze returns with a new direction built around the clear emerald water and relaxed atmosphere of Crab Island. My family has been vacationing in Destin for more than 30 years, and now those same trips are shared with my children and grandchildren. This release was designed to capture those memories, the water, the salt air, the calm afternoons on the bay, and the feeling that keeps bringing us back year after year.
Crab Island is a reimagining of the original Destin Breeze released in 2025, but pushed further toward the blue side of the aquatic spectrum. The scent was intentionally built to feel deeper, cleaner, cooler, and more atmospheric while still holding onto the warm coastal character that made the original special.
This is a blue aquatic with a smooth coastal feel that stays clean, airy, and refreshing while carrying a darker mineral and earthy backbone underneath. Rather than leaning heavily tropical or overly ozonic, Crab Island was designed to capture the feeling of warm brackish water, soft marine air, sunlit sand beneath the surface, and weathered driftwood carried by the tide.
The scent opens with fresh aquatic citrus and cool marine air before settling into mineral salt, beach wood, soft musk, damp earth, and smooth amber. Vetiver, black salt, cypress, and subtle patchouli help create depth and realism without overpowering the clean aquatic character.
Built in the Braford 2.1 base, the lather is dense, highly hydrated, and engineered for exceptional slickness, cushion, glide, and post-shave comfort. The combination of grass-fed beef tallow, duck fat, lanolin, butters, and post-cook conditioning additions creates a rich luxury lather that stays stable under heavy hydration while delivering a smooth, refined shaving experience from the first pass to the last.
