HANDCRAFTED HARDWOOD SHAVE BRUSHES & 26MM KNOTS

Our shave brush handles are hand-turned by me here in Louisiana, one at a time. Our Rustic hand-turned Handles are  made from mostly old-growth cypress logs pulled from the swamp more than 25 years ago. Some of the handles show water mark bluing and worm holes (Filled with CA for stabilization. I also work with other a limited amount of native and exotic hardwoods.

Cypress is naturally water-resistant and exceptionally well suited for a traditional wet-shaving brush. Every species offers its own distinctive grain, color, and character, ensuring that no two brushes are exactly alike. We finish our handles with tung oil or light coats of satin Polyurethane. 

Every finished brush includes a brass or cooper Cajun Blade branded coin and is fitted for our 26mm knots. We offer several knot options, including natural boar, badger, and premium synthetics. You can choose the face feel and performance you prefer.

These are individually handcrafted brushes, not custom-order brushes. We do not accept requests for specific shapes, wood species, grain patterns, dimensions, or other modifications. What you see available is what I have made.

Prices: $45 per handle, and $25 for seconds. 

I do not like installing knots permanently with CA glue. I use high strength water proof silicone. This enables the buyer to pull the knot and replace it. This comes with some drawbacks, at some point the knot may come out, if so just re silicone it. Or send it back and I will re set it, but this is an easy task. If you want a knot set in CA glue, I will no longer be responsible for anything that happens to the handle. From that point it's ruined and the knot can never be replaced safely without damaging the handle. If you do not like my process, you are welcome to shop brushes elsewhere.  Thanks, Eric.
