Handcrafted Cypress Shave Brushes & 26mm Knots

Our shave brush handles are hand-turned by me here in Louisiana, one at a time, from old-growth cypress logs pulled from the swamp more than 20 years ago. Cypress is naturally water-resistant and well suited for a traditional wet-shaving brush. Because every piece of wood has its own grain, color, and character, no two brushes are exactly alike.

Every finished brush includes a brass Cajun Blade branded coin and is fitted for our 26mm knots. We offer several knot options, from natural boar to premium synthetics, so you can choose the face feel and performance you prefer.

These are individually handcrafted brushes, not custom-order brushes. We do not accept requests for specific shapes, grain patterns, dimensions, or other modifications. What you see available is what I have made.
