Contraband Bay Rum is a true old-school bay rum made with real spices and time — not a modern cologne-style version. Whole bay leaves, clove, allspice, black pepper, star anise, and woods are steeped in perfumer’s alcohol for 8 full weeks, then aged another 4 weeks in the bottle with spices still inside.

The result is a bold, spice-forward bay rum with deep warmth and authentic character.

It opens with bay leaf, black pepper, and star anise. The heart brings classic clove and allspice with dry cypress wood. The base settles into rum, oud, amber, earth, and aged woods.

This is not a soft, powdery, or sweet bay rum. It’s dark, spicy, traditional, and built the old way.
