Atchafalaya After Sauce

Atchafalaya captures the darker, wilder side of the Louisiana swamp, deep woods, damp earth, old cypress and heavy Southern air.

It opens with dark blackberry and cypress before settling into oud, cedarwood and earthy patchouli. Palo santo and amber smooth the darker woods, while damp earth, dry grass and a touch of morning mist give it that humid, bottomland character. The blackberry adds just enough richness to keep the woods from becoming flat or overly dry.
