The Cajun Blade ACR1 Double Edge Safety Razor

The Cajun Blade ACR1 is a medium/aggressive, ultra high-efficiency double edge safety razor that delivers a close and engaging shave. It has enough blade feel to provide excellent feedback while remaining smooth and comfortable. The aluminum alloy construction keeps the razor lightweight, corrosion resistant, and nimble. For added durability, the top cap uses a zinc alloy threaded stud instead of aluminum, providing stronger threads that better withstand years of blade changes.

Note: I would not consider the ACR1 a beginner razor. Pressure is key with any DE razor, especially aluminum razors.

It's a very good shaver! Very efficient I found the razor to be on a 3-4 days growth. The finish is also very good, very well machined, and in gunmetal. In all I am happy with my purchase.

I'm all about efficiency when it comes to razors. This is tied eith my Muhle Rocca with Birch bark handle and Ascension Twist copper from PAA . Might move into first. The positive blade exposure and different blade angle helps mske it very efficient. So less passes , less irritation. Open comb razors are more efficient usually, except msybe this 1. If make open comb version will definitely get 1. Love the fact that handle is almost solid, the weight helps with balance and feel.

Nicer than I thought it would be. Every review video Ive sen said its a very efficient razor so I was a little nervous with how sensitive my skin is. Took down two weeks of growth with no issue in two passes and was irritation free. Great razor.

I found the razor to be a smooth shaving model that has high efficiency. Agree that it’s not a beginner’s razor as it does have some blade feel, but not excessive where it “bite” or causes irritation on my skin. I paired it with Perma-Sharp, Nacet and Lord Platinum blades. Did not like the Lord blades. The PS and Nacets were great for my wiry beard and normal skin. Soaps ranged included Proraso Green, PAA Ck6, and RazoRock flavors. All worked great with this razor.

This is a great razor. It is well designed - the blade sits snugly between the tabs. It is efficient but doesn't have a lot of blade feel. I highly recommend it, especially at this price point.
