Dude of Oud is dark, bold, and unapologetically oud-forward. The name comes from my buddy Westley “The Dude of Oud” Carroll, a man who knows his way around a heavy oud and doesn’t want it watered down or dressed up. This one follows that same line. Dude of Oud is dark, bold, and unapologetically oud-forward. This is not a soft oud. It’s not sweet, and it’s not toned down. Built around deep Oud wood, smoke, and resin, this scent is anchored by dry cedar and patchouli. Frankincense and myrrh bring in that dark incense character, while a touch of spice and citrus up top gives just enough lift before it drops off into the base. And that base is where it lives, woods, amber, musk, and leather… thick, dark, and grounded. It’s rugged, smoky, a little primal, and it wears like it.
